The Yoga Synergy System is based on a synthesis of the Traditional Eastern wisdom and modern medical science. It is a comprehensive yoga practice for all levels that is based on 30 years of research, 45 years of personal and teaching as well as a deep understanding of practical applied anatomy and physiology of yoga. This practice utilizes very simple yet effective techniques that are often missed by normal people in modern yoga yet are used by natural people in traditional yoga. These techniques include active movements, internal muscle locks, nerve reflexes, nerve tensioning (lengthening), specialised breath-control and internal circulatory pumping devices.
This intelligent practice can give you flexibility without painful stretching, strength without feeling tense, increased energy to do more things while not needing to have to significantly increase heart rate or breathing, and intelligence into your cells without having to over think.
Simon is a well known physiotherapist who has been practicing yoga for 45 years. He is also the co-director of YogaSynergy, one of Australia's oldest and most respected yoga schools, and teaches a style based on a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology and traditional hatha yoga. Simon has been invited to teach yoga and therapy workshops all around the world since 1990.
