Young children usually love to learn how to do 'yoga backward flips'. They can learn them quite easily once they have the basics and you as a parent or carer understand the anatomical factors to take into account to keep the practice safe. If practiced safely (see below) it is lots of fun for the both the parent/carer and the child and it can build up strength stamina and flexibility, it can increase abdominal organ health and promote appetite, digestion and the absorption of food.

...that shows how the 'Yogic Backward Flip' (Viparita Chakrasana) can be learnt once you learn how to combine an understanding of the 'Upward Facing Dog Pose' (Urdhva Mukha Svanasana) and the 'Downward Facing Dog Pose' (Adho Mukha Svanasana).
Do not attempt practicing or teaching this backflip until you and/or whoever you are helping are very comfortable doingan easy 'Backward Arch Pose (Urdhva Dhanurasana), a Handstand (Adho Mukha Svanasana') and have strong abdominal muscles with no back pain.
