In this video Jared Houliston of Ontario Wildlife Removal Inc. explains during a bat removal call the different seasons in which it is appropriate and legal to remove bats.
Bats in Canada are considered a “species at risk” and so removing them from a home must not be done during their maternity season which is from the middle of June to around the first of August.
As usual the bat in this video was dealt with humanely, and like all animals Ontario Wildlife Removal comes into contact with there was a happy ending!
